As chapters continue to grow, the NYGF take special pride in our history as the “mother” chapter.  To be considered for membership requires accomplishment, confidence, character, boldness, generosity, kindness and above all else, an appreciation for the bond of friendship with women who support each other through thick and thin.

​We meet monthly to break bread, and share laughter.  Outside of these meetings, we open our homes, travel the world, support the arts, pursue passions, celebrate each other and enjoy life in friendship. Our members are mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, retirees and more; but when we are together, we are Girl Friends first and foremost!
